How does the latest Scottish Government guidance affect Glasgow Club? (17 Nov)
In light of the Scottish Government announcement that the city of Glasgow will move to Level 4 in Covid-19 restrictions, Glasgow Club venues will close from Friday at 6pm and all outdoor fitness classes will be suspended until at least Friday 11 December.
- there’s no need to contact us individually
- we will NOT be charging any direct debit in December
- annual (pre-paid) memberships will be extended by a month
- refunds for any bookings made online will automatically be refunded
- any payments made at venues can be refunded at the venue to the card used
The phased reopening of Kelvin Hall is now beginning. Information for each partner can be found below, however this may change in line with government advice.
Please note that face coverings are required to be worn within the venue, unless you are exempt under the Scottish Government's exemptions list.
The gym at Kelvin Hall is due to reopen the week beginning 21st September.
Opening Hours will be as follows:
Monday to Friday: 6am - 10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am - 6pm
A booking system will be in place, with time slots for the gym and fitness class bookings available in advance. This can be booked online or via the Glasgow Club app.
Please note that changing facilities and lockers will not be available. Masks should be worn when entering the venue (unless exempt) but can be removed during physical activity.
Glasgow Life is currently working on a phased reopening of some venues across the city. While Kelvin Hall will reopen, the Soft Play and Clip ‘n’ Climb facilities will not open immediately as a thorough process must be followed to ensure a safe return for users. Similarly PlayGym and Gymnastics classes will not restart at present. We will update customers when a reopening date is confirmed.
