Glasgow Club Refresh
It pays to be working out with the latest high-quality equipment, so we’re getting our gym refresh programme back up and running – and the Glasgow Club facilities at Kelvin Hall are up next!
From the end of November and throughout December, Glasgow Club will be carrying out improvements to all fitness spaces within Kelvin Hall.
Gym: Brand new cardio equipment will be installed, along with some new strength and fixed resistance equipment, and a new digitally connected Functional Training area.
Studio 1: Repainted and refreshed for a more dynamic experience.
Studio 2: Refreshed and new feature lighting installed.
Studio 3 (group cycling and holistic space): Refreshed and updated look to both spaces, with new digitally connected static bikes and feature lighting.
In order to carry out this work, areas of the venue will be closed for short periods of time.
Studio 1: Closed from Mon 29 Nov until Sat 4 Dec
Gym: Closed from Mon 29 Nov until Sat 18 Dec
Studio 3 (group cycling): Group cycling unavailable from 29 Nov until 20 Dec
Studio 3 (holistic space): Activities relocated from Mon 13 December until Mon 20 Dec
Studio 2: Closed from Mon 20 Dec until venue reopens in Jan 2022
Please remember while these facilities are closed, your Glasgow Club membership allows you to use any other venues in the city. Nearby venues include Maryhill (2 miles), Scotstoun (2.7 miles) and Bellahouston (3.6 miles).
We appreciate these interruptions may be an inconvenience for some of you, and not everyone will be able to travel to an alternative venue. We’ve made it simpler to pause your subscription if temporary changes like this mean you won’t get maximum value out of your membership.
If you have a monthly Direct Debit subscription with us, simply cancel your Direct Debit Instruction (to pay Culture & Sport Glasgow) with your bank without any penalties or fees. When you are ready to return simply drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org together with your bank sort code, name and account number and we’ll get you restarted again.
To ensure you aren’t billed for the month of December, please cancel your Direct Debit before the end of the day on Monday 29 November.
If you have an annual pre-paid membership subscription, simply email us at email@example.com providing the dates you would like your membership paused for and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
