Following the First Minister’s announcement that all areas of Scotland will move to Covid Protection Level Zero from Monday 19 July, we’ll be implementing some changes across our services.
All indoor public places will now adhere to physical distancing measures of one metre rather than two metres, and this will be the case in all Glasgow Life venues which have reopened including museums, libraries, and sports facilities.
Glasgow Club at Kelvin Hal is open
When the gym at Kelvin Hall reopens opening hours will be as follows:
Monday to Friday: 6am - 10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am - 6pm
Classes can be booked online or via the Glasgow Club app.
Please note that changing facilities and lockers will not be available. Masks should be worn when entering the venue (unless exempt) but can be removed during physical activity.
Soft Play/ Clip n'Climb at Kelvin Hall are currently closed

Glasgow Life is currently working on a phased reopening of some venues across the city. While Kelvin Hall will reopen, the Soft Play and Clip ‘n’ Climb facilities will not open immediately as a thorough process must be followed to ensure a safe return for users. Similarly PlayGym will not restart at present. We will update customers when a reopening date is confirmed.
National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive
The National Library at Kelvin Hall is open Tuesday: 10.00 - 16.00 Thursday: 10.00 - 16.00 Saturday: 10.00 - 16.00. At times when our visitor spaces are closed please enjoy the moving image archive collections on our website (www.nls.uk/digital-resources).

Glasgow Museums
Glasgow Museums are not currently running any workshops at Kelvin Hall, however they are participating in an online programme.

The Hunterian, University of Glasgow
The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery has reopened, from 10am–5pm Tue–Sat and 11am–4pm Sun (closed Mon). Please visit The Hunterian website for updates on reopening.
Kelvin Hall Cafe, Clip n' Climb and Soft Play
The Café on the ground floor of the venue, along with the Clip n' Climb, Soft Play and Soft Play Café all remain closed at this time. We will update our website when this changes.
