Age Well, Free Museum Workshops

Glasgow Life Museums now offer free Age Well sessions for groups of older adults and care homes visiting our venues, including here at Kelvin Hall.

These relaxed museum sessions offer the opportunity for your group to visit and engage with museum objects in a meaningful way with a member of our learning team, handle real museum objects, take part in practical activities, and enjoy tea, coffee and chat. These workshops are dementia friendly and can be tailored to meet the needs of your group.

Age Well sessions last 90 minutes, for groups of 5-12 participants maximum including carers and are available to book throughout the year in any of the following Glasgow Life Museum venues: Kelvin Hall Riverside Museum Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, The Burrell Collection, Glasgow Museums Resource Centre (GMRC), The People’s Palace,

Each venue offers a unique session exploring the objects from that museum.

To book an Age Well group session in a museum venue of your choice please call 0141 276 9505 / 9506 or Email: museums.schoolbookings@glasgowlife.org.uk
